This course builds on Introductory Sign Language 1.
This online interactive course is conducted via live Zoom classes and self-paced activities in Google Classroom. Applicants must have successfully completed Introductory Sign Language- 1 or pass an entrance evaluation and meet specific criteria.

This online, interactive course is the first part of a two-part basic course. It provides a strong foundation for conversing in Sign Language at an elementary level. Participants are introduced to beginning vocabulary, grammar and expressive skills, and Deaf Culture. It comprises 9 live classes via Zoom and self-paced activities in Google classroom posted every week. Classes are taught by a certified instructor and local Deaf signers.
